Journey into the stylish settings of our updated Hemingway Suite at The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection. The refreshed space was inspired by Ernest Hemingway, the Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning American novelist who was also an avid sailor, fisherman, journalist, war correspondent and part-time resident of Cuba and Key West. 

From Tropical banana leaf wallpaper from Versace, to a custom art installation featuring many of his books, this suite inspires the everyday explorer. Discover thoughtful elements including a Panama hat, collection of vintage suitcases, Cuban cigar box, faux taxidermy, sailing accoutrements and a mini-bar with Hemingway's preferred beverages. A writing space boasts a large, beautiful mahogany desk and vintage typewriter, while the terrace provides a private place to enjoy sweeping city views and a good book. 

Comfort abounds in these quarters - from the beautiful bedroom and seperate living room with e plush pullout sofa to a spacious bathroom outfitted with a soaking tub and seperate shower stall with a Kohler® shower head and jets. Although Hemingway never quite felt at home in the big city, we channeled his essence to create s space that you will enjoy and he would be proud of. 

Some notable items in the room: Vintage Typewriter, Mahogany Writers Desk, a collection of Hemingway's novels, tropical banana leaf wallpaper from Versace, a Panama hat, a collection of vintage suitcases, custom wall art vintage book installation, Cuban cigar box, a mini bar with his preferred beverages, faux taxidermy, compass, globe, and other sailing accoutrements.
